Mother's Day

Mothers Day was great. I went to my son's for BBQ and spend time with grandkids.

Took them some strawberry plants and lily bulbs and brought home some fiddle head ferns and rhubarb.  Good trade I think.

Had burgers,steak,ice cream, cupcakes, salad, chips, homemade salsa. I'm stuffed.

Had a great time.

Scottish Highland games

On June 26th be in Eagle River Alaska for the Scottish Highland games.  My hubby and I will have a booth there.  Can't wait.  I want my shortbread.

So much goings on

So the Dr. who did my surgery says everything went well and I don't need to see him again.  I said what about the fact that I'm in more pain and have weird little seizures since the surgery.  He didn't have an answer.

Hubby got the application to do the Highland Games so we will be having a booth there. On June 28th in Eagle River Alaska I better see all of you. LOL

Paid half of our state fair booth fee so we will be there also. Can't remember the dates.

I made lavender jelly the other day and it turned out great.

Thinking about having a giveaway if I had more followers.  But I can't seem to get any.   Help

Snow

It snowed yesterday about 4-6 inches. Wind was blowing like all get out and now we have huge drifts. Yuck couldn't make Drs. appt cause couldn't get out out of driveway.

Have felt like crap lately ended up in ER the other night having hard time breathing. Feeling better now.

Went to Michaels arts and crafts store and got all kinds of felt and celtic charms and ribbon. Bunch of different goodies. Can't wait to start using it.

Will probably post new item tomorrow. A black coffee cozy. Hopefully if it sunny tomorrow take pictures of some more goodies for my store.

Snowed here yesterday and I made myself so sore shoveling. Hubby couldn't shovel as he fell in bathroom. His sciatic is acting up and he fell.
I am going to make soup tomorrow as I thawed out some pork neck bones. So I must remember to start it today.
It's pretty here when it snows but it sucks shoveling.

Oh how I miss him and his music

Watching a John Denver movie I have never seen called Higher Ground. Its very good and he sings a couple songs in it I have also never heard. I miss him and his music. He was very good. I wish him peace.

Today

Seems like all I ever get done are coffee cozies. The first hint of winter might be over someday is that the last two days have been warm and snow is melting off my roof. But I know that just when you think its over. BOOM thats when it will snow again. But unless something weird happens I know that the extreme cold is done for the year.

Busy day.

I worked on coffee cozies. Also fabric yoyos for Christmas Ornaments. I know its early but takes me awhile. Carpel Tunnel both hands then add pain in neck. Big hurt today.

Blogging

I am beginning to wonder why blogging isall the rage. So far I have no idea what to say . I had diner today. Hubby not feeling well stayed home from wrk. Had burritos for dinner and cake with lavender sauce for dessert. Dessert was really good. Didn't craft too much today. Made hubby a welders cap for when he paints. Found pattern online. Have to hand sew it. My sewing machine needs a belt. But it is a very old machine so I have to find someone who has belt for it.
